Excitement surrounds Titleist's unveiling of the GTS drivers at the Texas Children’s Houston Open. The new GTS lineup, including the GTS2, GTS3, and GTS4, is also on display at the LPGA Ford Championship and the Korn Ferry Tour's Club Car Championship.
Replacing the acclaimed GT series, the GTS drivers promise advancements with early glimpses showing a striking silver weight at the back, likely boosting Moment of Inertia (MOI) for enhanced stability on off-center hits. Additionally, the GTS3 maintains a weight track similar to its predecessor, the GT3, enabling alterations to the shot shape bias.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Brennan, after initial tests, expressed enthusiasm, stating, "I was disappointed I couldn’t play it right away. I’m eager for the 'S' to arrive soon." Star player Ludvig Åberg is slated as one of the first to test the drivers following previous tournament setbacks.
While detailed specs remain under wraps, anticipation is high for these drivers’ release, potentially in May.
